Man calls looking for a relative. Then goes on to say that I am in trouble and there is a legal case against me. When I told him to tell me what the chargers were he said that he was not allowed to discuss the case with me then hung up. When I called back it rang twice then disconnected. We found out it was a texas verizon cell number issued to a woman.

This caller left a harassing message on my home phone number and said I had 24 hours to contact them back, that they would be serving me with papers between 9 - 2 today. They have obtained my sister's cell number who is an amputee and in a nursing home and have continued to harassed her with numerous phones calls and threats. I do not know how they obtained her cell phone number or my home phone number. When I called them back I got a man who advised this was a matter from 1994 and the papers would be served and I had better be home to receive them. I attempted to let them know I was returning their call and he begin screaming and claiming I called him. I have never heard of these people and would like to know my legal options in this situation. Number calling my phone portraying an office of the law. Looking for information on a friend who used me as a reference.

When I went to answer the phone nobody said anything.

Recorded message saying that I needed to call back about an important matter and that if I did not return the call by 6:00 pm Central time that they will be forced to make a decision on this matter without my input. I tried to call bake 6 times. 5 times got disconnected and one time a woman answered and said that she wanted my name that I had reached Regent.

Caller keeps calling. Never leaving a message or responding when answered. Nothing happens when called back.

We have tried FOR YEARS to stop calls from this number. They come in on EVERY month's phone bill. Usually 4, up to 7 or 8 total. They come to our in-bound WATS line, therefore a charge to us. Usually totals about .75 to $1.00 per month, which means they are getting to us (and probably many thousands more) for $8 to $12. per year. AT&T swears they can't stop them. HELP.

calls constantly all hours of day and night

they called again and i answered and they hung up on me so i called back and they claim to be some follow up call to an online inquiry on some medication. I told them to stop calling and if they didn't i would call the police & file a report of harassment against them and the woman said oh okay & hung up.
